‘WOW’ them!

A part of the culture changing at Concordia Lutheran Church in San Antonio, Texas is a “WOW” card in the church seats, along with the attendance and prayer cards.  It extends an open invitation to anyone (guest or member) to get connected to ministry.

The WOW stands for

Who are you;
what do you lOve to do (the O is a heart shape);
and, are you Willing to serve?

The completed card is placed in the offering plate and delivered on Monday to the Director of Connections for follow-up.  About 3 – 5 cards come in each week.  This tool is helping to create a culture that communicates the expectation of ministry involvement!
