Let Your Voice Be Heard
Express yourself and help others find the most valuable resources by rating the articles you read in our Idea Depot. Now at the bottom of each article, you’ll be able to rate its value from 1 to 5 stars and see how other association members have evaluated it: Image of Ratings bar Over time, we will be adding the ability to rate other resources too!  And once a number of people have rated our resources we can help you find things you might not have discovered by showing you links to other resources enjoyed by people who like the one you’re reviewing. This is your association. Please help us make it even more valuable for everyone by joining in!

Background Check Rescreening
Many organizations rescreen their volunteers and employees annually to review critical information such as criminal activity, driving records, and credit reports.  In fact, Pastor Jack Hayford, president of the Foursquare Church denomination, has said that all of their churches should rescreen people annually. Church Volunteer Central’s background check partner, LexisNexis, has responded by creating Rescreen Manager—a new feature that allows an organization to easily rescreen their volunteers and employees after a year has passed since their last screening.  To do so, just click on the last tab in the order section.  A list of people that were checked one year ago will appear. Then simply click on the plus sign before an individual's name to submit a new order. A form will be created already containing the information that was originally submitted for that individual.  If there are any changes, you can make them easily there before submitting the order.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact your LexisNexis Customer Service representative at 800-631-8777, option 3.
