  • MST112-Greeter
As a greeter, you’re the first point of contact when people enter your church. You’re a reflection of both Jesus and your congregation to each person. This module will help you serve as Christ’s ambassador to those who come to your church.
  • MST113-Multimedia Design Helps
The worship services at your church are filled with tools. These include hymnals, padded pews, heating and air conditioning, the sound system, lighting, and even bulletins. Presentation software (such as PowerPoint, for example) can be used as a wonderful tool to aid the worship of God’s people. This module will help you develop multimedia presentations that deepen the experience.
  • MST115-Usher
Ushers serve on the frontlines of welcoming members and regular attenders as well as guests to a church’s services and special events. This module will help ensure that you’re leading people into the service with an attitude of comfort, welcome, and anticipation.
  • CD101--Child Development (Birth to Age 4)
This session can be used for Children’s Ministry Volunteers and Staff, particularly those who work with children from birth to age 4: Sunday school teachers, children’s ministry workers, leaders, directors, CE pastors, etc. The same staff and volunteers who work with children just over this age group might also want to utilize this session, as the lines of development tend to be a bit fuzzy.
  • RL101--The "R" in REAL Learning: Relational
Learn the concepts of authentic learning using a unique approach that results in long-term retention and life transformation. This session focuses on a relational approach, since learner-to-learner interaction enhances learning and builds Christian friendships. While this lesson is directed at those serving in children’s ministry, REAL learning concepts also apply to youth group leaders, adult Sunday school classes and teachers, small group leaders, etc.

  • Easy Can Be Bad - Aug, 2009
A colleague recently asked Don Simmons to review his church’s new management system. The church was investing thousands of dollars and countless hours of staff time to implement it. It was designed to make several aspects of dealing with people easier. But in this case, making things easier did more harm than good and defeated the purpose of something important!
  • Equip with the Web - Sep, 2009
Most ministries understand the importance of having a web presence. But Krista Petty points out that rather than being a static page advertising upcoming events, it can and should be a place to promote the attitude of equipping.
