Alan Nelson
Alan has a BA in biblical literature from Olivet Nazarene University, MA in psychology/communication from CSU-Sacramento and an EdD in leadership from the University of San Diego. He is a successful church planter, former staff member of small and mega-churches, and considered a leadership development specialist. He is the author of 14 books and nearly 200 articles. At the age of 49, he startled many by resigning from a leadership role at a Christian publisher to dedicate the rest of his life to raising ethical, effective leaders through a non-profit organization he founded called KidLead (www.kidlead.com). Dr. Nelson has taught a variety grad and doctoral classes in the areas of org change, leadership development, and communication. Today, he uses his 25 years of ministry experience to consult with churches and train church leaders.
Andee Marks
Andee Marks has 20 years of experience with equipping as both a volunteer and a staff member. She has served small, medium, and large churches, as well as parachurch organizations. Andee is the Executive Minister for St. Patrick’s Anglican Church in Lexington, KY, a TeamCVC Network Coach, and a consultant to churches and ministry leaders seeking to strengthen their equipping practices. andeemarks@insightbb.com
Angela Yee
Angela Yee is Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries at University Covenant Church in Davis, CA. She has worn a variety of hats in many ministries, including events, worship, volunteer ministry and communications. She has a passion to help people discover more about God and themselves, including discovering their strengths and gifts. She is a graphic designer by training, a former home-schooling mom and author of I’m Not Neat But I’m Organized.
Bob D'Ambrosio
Bob is a 25-year veteran of church ministry in discipleship and equipping and now serves as a consultant with Church Volunteer Central. He's the training director for the Equipping Institute and the editor of Group's Volunteer Leadership Series. He's also a great guy!
Brian Walton
Brian has been the Senior Minister at Calvary since September of 2005. Prior to Calvary, Brian's ministries have included First Christian Church in Etowah, TN (4 years); and helping to plant Polaris Christian Church in Brunswick, OH (6 years). Brian believes that his "reason for being" is to add value to the people and organizations in his life through leadership excellence and meaningful relationships.
Don Simmons
Don R. Simmons,is senior consultant with Creative Potential Consulting, a church and nonprofit consulting firm. He was formerly director of Leadership Equipping and Development (LEAD) in Fresno. Prior to directing LEAD, Don served as associate professor of Christian education at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Northern California.
Ed Cyzewski
Ed Cyzewski is the author of Coffeehouse Theology: Reflecting on God in Everyday Life. He blogs on Christian living at www.inamirrordimly.com and serves at St. Paul’s Collegiate Church in Eastern Connecticut.
Eugenia Freiburger
Eugenia C. Freiburger, D.Min., serves as adjunct faculty for Union-PSCE Theological Seminary, and Baptist Theological Seminary, both in Richmond, VA. She also consults for churches on equipping culture and leadership.
Jeremy Amick
Jeremy earned a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was also trained, certified, and served as an Associate Instructor with Walk Thru the Bible, International, leading biblical seminars in many churches. He has also presented at youth camps, retreats, and other Christian events.
Josh Hunt
Josh Hunt served for 11 years as a Minister of Education at Calvary Baptist Church, Las Cruces, New Mexico. During his ministry, the church nearly tripled in attendance. He is currently serving as an independent conference speaker, consultant, webmaster, and freelance writer.
Krista Petty
Krista Petty is a senior advisor for Backyard Impact (backyardimpact.com), a training organization for churches desiring to equip members for service outside the walls of the church. Molly Wright is a freelance writer and former Director of Religious Education for St Thomas More Newman Center in Columbia, Missouri where she served for 16 years.

Nils is the Social Media pastor at Community Bible Church in San Antonio, TX, and author of the book, Social Media Guide for Ministry. Rob Dyer
Rob Dyer is the Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Vernon, IL. His church has an externally-focused passion for community ministries and a desire to become a better equipping church. He is also a new TeamCVC coach in the Illinois area.
Sue Brage
Sue Brage is a writer/equipper who's obsessed with helping church leaders deal with volunteer issues, find fresh inspiration, consider new ideas to motivate and appreciate people, or make their ministries safer. She has served the local church for more than 30 years and lives in Loveland, CO.
Sue Mallory
Sue Mallory, the author of the book, The Equipping Church, has been a champion for the lay ministry movement for over 30 years. She is the former executive director of Leadership Training Network and has consulted with Group Publishing to produce equipping ministry training.
Susan Lawrence
Susan Lawrence has served as small groups coordinator, Christian education coordinator, and women’s ministry coordinator in central Illinois. She regularly speaks at conferences and trainings and is the author of two women’s studies, Pure Purpose and Pure Emotion.
Tammy Kelley
Tammy served on the senior leadership team of Willow Creek Community Church, South Barrington, Illinois for 7½ years. During her time on staff at Willow Creek, her overall goal for ministry was to assemble teams of high capacity, high performance, and high character people who partner together to advance the kingdom. Tammy had a grass roots entrance into ministry. Serving first as a volunteer, then part time staff and eventually full time staff at her home church, Ginghamsburg Church, in Tipp City, Ohio. While at Ginghamsburg she had the opportunity to serve in a variety of staff roles including serving as Executive Pastor for the church the last several years she was on staff. Tammy was also on the adjunct teaching faculty of Leadership Network for several years.
Tim Milburn
Tim Milburn spends his time developing student leaders on a college campus and through the tools and resources he provides on his website studentlinc. These articles and tools were created to equip a generation of student leaders who are poised to change the face of our cultures and campuses.
Tim Nations
Tim Nations serves as the Director of Innovation Labs and Rapid Growing Churches Leadership Community for Leadership Network. Tim has served in full-time ministry in churches across the north Texas area for over 15 years. Since 1999, Tim served as a contract strategic facilitator for churches and non-profit organizations around the country, helping teams increase their impact for the Kingdom. He has also served as a core team member of Group's LifeServe National Conference.
Tom Bandy
Tom Bandy is president and senior partner with Easum, Bandy, and Associates, (easumbandy.com), internationally respected for church consultation and leadership coaching. He’s also the executive director of Net Results Magazine (netresults.org), a bimonthly periodical for evangelism. He’s been a pastor to growing churches for more than 25 years.
