3 Truths Volunteer Leaders Need To Remember

I just love Jim Wideman’s claasic, Children’s Ministry Volunteers that Stick. It’s filled with nuggets, scripture, and real-life advice. Not all of the advice applies only to volunteers, though! I came across these three points the last time I read the book and realized these are things everyone in the church needs to know. I guess it’s our job as leaders to share them…

Truth #1: God has promised to meet all your needs… (for volunteers, resources, time, energy, children, people, support. I could go on!)

Truth #2: Every Christian is called into ministry…(to love God is to serve others!)

Truth #3: Every Christian has at least one gift to share… (we ALL have something to offer!)
