Dear Friend in Ministry,

I’m going to say something shocking to you. It is something I believe strongly…and have heard echoed recently by our CEO and Founder, Thom Schultz. The biggest challenge the church in America is facing is the idea that we go to church not to serve, but to be served. Served the music I like, the coffee I want, the sermon I want to hear, the children’s church that suits me…and so on! There is a big disconnect between the reality of the 21st century church and the Biblical model for service and humility laid out in the Bible.

I believe, every church has what it takes to reach its potential. But chances are if you’re following the traditional model of doing church in America, it will never reach that potential, regardless of its size. This is a strong statement, I know. And you may be thinking, that’s not the way it is in our church. Good! However, some of you may be thinking, that is exactly the problem I see in our congregation. Don’t be discouraged—it’s not hopeless! We are seeing a resurgence in interest in the biblical pattern of serving and discipleship like never before. We can turn this around.

We believe there is a better way to do church—a more effective way to lead—that is based on equipping and partnering with those in your church to carry out the work of the ministry. Tapping into this powerful design can free you and your leaders and equip every member of the Body to serve in ministry.

Today, we are offering a special resource based on real people, whose churches have become bold, dynamic congregations by doing exactly this! For Me To We, a variety of pastors and church staff collaborated in the process, so that the conversations reflect the journeys of those who’ve transformed their congregations dynamically.

Our prayer is that by the end of this book, you’ll be inspired to pursue a different way of doing what God called your church to do!

In Me To We, you’ll discover…

  • Practical ways to move your church from a pastor-centric model to one that maximizes its volunteers, staff, and everyone in your church.
  • A variety of “best practices” from interviews with churches that have released their pastors from “doing it all” –and successfully turned the way they do ministry upside-down.
  • A convenient downloadable PDF format allows you instant access as well as the ability to view on e-readers or smart phones!
