Today, September 30, is the last day for Super Early-Bird savings to attend our first national conference. We have added lots of new detail about the event at our website (churchvolunteercentral.com/conference09), so take a look and register today so you don’t miss the lowest rates possible for this event.
This will be a remarkable opportunity to learn from national church leaders such as John Ortberg, Wayne Cordeiro, and Rick Rusaw. But there also dozens of sessions led by people like you who have made volunteer leadership work in their churches! There are additional opportunities set aside for those who bring a team from their church (and get an additional 10% discount!) to gather and discuss how to implement these principles in their own contexts.
Don’t tell the folks back at your church, but there’s another great reason to attend: The Rocky Mountains are always beautiful, but even more so in late September/early October as the aspens turn golden. We encourage you to plan vacation time before or after the conference to take advantage of the opportunity for personal spiritual refreshment in one of God’s most majestic and inspiring settings.
But remember: Tomorrow, October 1, the rates will go up. So register your team today!
TeamCVC Equipping Network Continues to Grow
Church Volunteer Central isn’t a product or a website, it’s an association. One of the things that makes an association work is when its members, well, associate. The TeamCVC Equipping Network is one way we’re helping you do that. We now have more than a dozen regional network sites, from Edmonton, Alberta, to Greenville, South Carolina! Each regional site has a coach whom we provide with free training on facilitating meetings and resources that will not only teach you, but give you the opportunity to get to know and learn from other ministry leaders in your area.
Take a moment and visit our TeamCVC page to see if there is a regional site near you. You’ll also find information on how you can start one of your own! Let’s all learn from each other’s mistakes so we don’t have to repeat them, and learn from each other’s successes so we can repeat them.
