Our Philosophy
It’s all about the people.
More specifically, it’s about equipping people. To follow their calling. To make a difference. To find their joy.
It’s not about a process, or a system, or a program. Church ministry should be—must be—much more than that.
We embrace a fully, and fulfilling, biblical strategy to church volunteer ministry. It follows three principles:
- Every Christian is meant to serve. We’re priests, all of us.
(Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 2:9) - Every Christian is gifted. God gave us powerful spiritual gifts.
(1 Corinthians 12:7-11) - Every Christian is unique. Each of us has something to offer.
(1 Corinthians 12:18-22)
It’s your job, as a church volunteer leader, to “prepare God’s people for works of service” (Ephesians 4:12). And it’s CVC’s job to help you do just that.
That’s it, plain and simple. There may be a time and a place for things that are hard, but your ministry doesn’t have to be one of them.
